As part of our effort to support the community around the GStreamer product
Fluendo is happy to make available this public source code repository of
various codec implementations.
The source code of the plugins varies from plugin to plugin, but they all
use established and OSI approved licenses. Take a look at the COPYING file
in the source code for the exact license of each plugin.
The media formats covered by these plugins also have patent claims
associated with them in some jurisdictions, so users and developers
getting this source code need to verify that they have any needed
licenses.
Currently the repository contains two plugins a MPEG2 Program Stream and Transport
Stream plugin and a MP3 decoder plugin.
You can get the source code of the plugins using
subversion and check out the
code from https://core.fluendo.com/gstreamer/svn/trunk using the command
svn co https://core.fluendo.com/gstreamer/svn/trunk
Or you can download a tarball of the source code.
Commercial questions regarding these plugins can be directed at
info@fluendo.com. Other types of
requests should be sent to the
GStreamer development mailing list.
